Cartridge Filling Specialist- Day Shift, Full Time

Job Summary:

The Cartridge Filling Specialist is responsible for packaging plant extracts into cartridges. The Cartridge Filling Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace to provide a sterile environment for production of products, they will also be expected to assist in the Packaging department and fulfill tasks as needed.

The schedule is Monday - Thursday 7:15 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Package extract material into cartridges while ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Ability to go through a tedious checklist, thoroughly.
• Exhibit high attention to detail and record data as appropriate.
• Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality products.
• Sanitize & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day.
• Comfortability working in a temperature controlled environment between 61-63 degrees.
• Expected to work in a lab environment. All employees are expected to wear a company provided smock, beard net for facial hair (if applicable), hair must be tied back tightly or permitted to wear a hat.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique.
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and co-workers
• Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-10 hour work periods without losing quality.
• Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
• Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work seated in a temperature controlled workspace (cooler) for long periods of time.
• Close visual focus required.
• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
