The Compliance Officer must possess the ability to work well on a team as well as be self-motivated and accomplish tasks accurately and quickly in an independent manner. This individual must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to change priorities and tasks as needed. We have a very fast- paced environment as we continue to grow and expand. Must be motivated, trustworthy, and a team player.

Job Summary:

The Compliance Officer is responsible for maintaining compliance across all White Label and corresponding properties by staying current on knowledge of OSHA, OLCC, state and federal compliance policies. They will also be responsible for maintaining upkeep on building and property maintenance to include maintaining security camera systems and building security, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Discuss emerging compliance issues to ensure that management and employees are informed about compliance reporting systems, policies, and practices.
• File appropriate compliance reports to include end of year reporting with regulatory agencies and keep and maintain company OSHA 300 logs.
• Conducts regular, random internal audits of facility operations and prepares written reports to senior management.
• Creates, implements and facilitates compliance training across all facilities to also include standard operating procedures (SOP) and internal processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to all employees and will be the primary point of contact for all regulatory agencies.
• Audit Metrc reports.
• Monitor, view and maintain security cameras regularly and report any irregularities to senior management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 2-3 years of relevant compliance experience.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies.
• Experience with implementing and using METRC, preferred.
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences.
• Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
• Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (business, legal, regulatory fields) preferred, or other comparable experience.
• OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as bending, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Use of ladders may be used occasionally and as necessary.
• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating objects.
• This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
