Job Title: Dab Lead

Reports to: Packaging Manager

Job Summary:

The Dab Lead is responsible for overseeing the packaging team and maintaining daily operations of the department. They will also be expected to assist in the Packaging department and fulfill tasks as needed.

*** Schedule: Mon. - Thurs. 7:15 am - 5:45 pm***

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee gram filling department and daily operations.
• Monitor and review employee work performance.
• Keep inventory of cartridge hardware and all machine parts.
• Maintain stock sheet inventory for part ordering.
• Confer with the packaging manager on work activities, operations and personnel needs.
• Quality control packaged materials into jars/parchment while ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Ability to go through a tedious checklist, thoroughly.
• Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality products.
• Sanitize & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day.
• Comfortability working in a temperature controlled environment between 61-63 degrees.
• Expected to work in a lab environment. All employees are expected to wear a company provided smock, beard net for facial hair (if applicable), hair must be tied back tightly or permitted to wear a hat.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Prep packagers work stations each morning
• Gram track log

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

• Minimum 1 year management experience, required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique.
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and co-workers
• Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-10 hour work periods without losing quality.
• Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work seated in a temperature controlled workspace (cooler) for long periods of time.
• Close visual focus required.
• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
