Job Summary:

The Grow Site Assistant is responsible for weekend watering, general cleaning around the garden/warehouse grow site, prune and maintain plants and water preparation for the new week.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Weekend farm upkeep and watering of all plants as necessary.
• Trimming and pruning of plants.
• Maintaining and administering cleaning around the garden/warehouse.
• Preparing water tanks for the new week while following approved techniques.
• Tend to clones in the nursery; inspect for pests or contaminants.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with the direct supervisors and co-workers
• Must work well independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
• Must pass all required pre-employment screenings.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

Education and Experience:

• Must have basic knowledge of cannabis grow site operations or personal grow experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to wear a respirator for intermittent periods of time.
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as bending, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating objects.
• This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
