Labeling Specialist- Full Time

The schedule consists of:
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:50 p.m.

Job Summary:

The Labeling Specialist is responsible for preparing the packaging that will be filled with plant extracts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create packaging and labeling for jars, mylar bags and boxes.
• Operate sticker presses, labeling machines and wide format printing equipment.
• Load and unload wide format printer, t-shirt press, and other labeling machinery.
• Wash and sanitize materials and cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day.
• Exhibit competency in basic organizational and communication skills.
• Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic computer literacy skills
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with direct supervisors and co-workers.
• Be a reliable team player.
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique and be willing to receive and apply constructive feedback.
• Ability to multi-task with great efficiency over 8-10 hour work periods without losing quality.
• Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
• Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs
• Must be able to work standing and/or seated for long periods of time.
• Close visual focus required.
• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
