Parts Cleaner and Assembler

Job Summary:

The Parts Cleaner and Assembler is responsible for daily, general cleaning of extraction machine parts, and assembling equipment as necessary for the extraction team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Sanitize, clean and maintain extraction machine parts.
• General cleaning of the extraction room, tools and materials (such as glassware and/or metal instruments) using solvents, brushes, rags, and/or other extraction related cleaning methods.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and co-workers
• Must have strong proficiency with basic hand tools (to include hammers, wrenches, screw drivers, etc).
• Must work well independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
• Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age
• Experience with tri-clamp parts (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to wear a respirator for intermittent periods of time.
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as bending, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating objects.
• This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
